Calcuvator Support
Calcuvator is a calm, tactile calculator with three modes — Basic, Advanced (scientific), and Graph.
Frequently asked questions
- My trig results look wrong.
- Check the Rad/Deg toggle in Advanced mode (or Settings → Angle Unit). sin(30) is 0.5 in degrees but −0.988 in radians — both are correct.
- What does the % key do?
- After a number it means percent: 50% + 1 = 1.5. Between two numbers it acts as modulo: 7 % 3 = 1. There is also a dedicated mod key.
- How do I pin favorite functions?
- Long-press any scientific key and choose “Pin to Favorites.” The same menu explains what the function does, with an example.
- How do I trace a curve?
- Tap anywhere on the graph, or enable the crosshair button. Drag or use the slider to slide along the curve; toggle Tangent to see the tangent line, and the panel shows whether the function is increasing or decreasing.
- How do I see x-intercepts and maxima?
- Enable the key-points button (the dotted circle) on the graph. Tap any chip below the graph to center on that point.
- How do I compute the area under a curve?
- Graph tab → ••• menu → Area Under Curve, then enter the two x values. The shaded region and its signed value appear on the graph.
- Where is my data stored?
- Everything stays on your device. See the privacy policy.
